We study how animals use vision to make decisions in complex, dynamic, and noisy environments. Our research connects behaviour, sensory biology, and cognition—focusing on how animals interpret and act on uncertain or incomplete visual information. Using behavioural experiments, fieldwork, and computational tools, we explore how sensory systems guide decision-making in complex, cluttered, and changing worlds.
